a mixed bag , i'd say

cramped room lukewarm shower

the location was fine , with easy access to public transportation.

the room i got felt really cramped , not at all what i expected. the shower was a bit of a disaster , too. the temperature was stuck on lukewarm , and because of the badly designed door , the entire bathroom ended up flooded after each shower.

Wonderful Experience

underground station fantastic reception great price warm welcome

The underground station is very close. I found two supermarkets within a short walk. Rishi at reception was fantastic. He provided a very warm welcome and upgraded my room for a great price. The check-in experience was lovely, he is the reason guests keep returning.

I noticed photos of the rooms are not representative. They have taken a photo of a renovated bathroom and implied that all rooms look like this.

The staff provided a power converter. It was available for my entire stay. Breakfast had a nice variety. The staff were very kind and helpful.

The shower temperature did not change. It was stuck at 38 degrees. The shower door is only half a door, so the whole bathroom floor gets wet. The hand soap pump was never refilled . I had to use shampoo to wash my hands.

the location was convenient near the gloucester tube station. several restaurants and cafes were close, this made getting around and finding food easy. i was also given a complimentary room upgrade. the room was prepared with the curtains closed and the ac running after a day out

i experienced disruptions in the mornings. there was loud drilling above my room one morning. i had to inform the front desk about housekeeping for my room. typically, housekeeping is done automatically

Excellent Stay Experience

helpful staff convenient directions perfect location

They provided directions to destinations by tube. The underground station is near the hotel. The bus stop for hop-on-hop-off tours is in front of the hotel. The Victoria and Albert Museum is within walking distance.

The gym was too small.

the room was very clean when i arrived. it had lovely sheets too! i also liked that the mini bar was fully stocked. a nespresso machine was available for me.

The location was fantastic! I easily accessed the tube and buses. The staff helped me with directions and gave me great suggestions. Daily biscuits in the room were such a nice touch too!

The room felt smaller than the pictures showed. So disappointing. The gym was also too small to be called a real gym. The restaurant felt lacking in some areas too.
